CALGARY -- The Calgary Stampeders announced Thursday that they signed import linebacker Deron Mayo to a contract extension. Mayo will be entering his third season with the Stampeders. He played primarily on special teams as a rookie in 2012, and became a starter at outside linebacker during the Week 4 of last season, and finished second on the team with 57 tackles. Mayo also excelled at special teams, recording nine tackles.
